You have found your Scrying: Third Quest! Congratulations :)
Hydromancy: Hydromancy involves spying into the still reflective surface of water. In “Lord of the Rings” this was Lady Galadriel’s preferred method of divination as she entices Frodo to look into the water. Nostradamus used bowls of water in this manner. Traditionally, bowls of liquid have been midnight blue or black in color. To use this method of divination, do the following:
Fill a basin/bowl of water half ways and place the filled basin/bowl on a steady surface, so as to keep the water from moving about. When relaxed and focused on the intent at hand, look into the water. Remember not to lean above the basin/bowl so far that your own face is reflected upon it; doing this will cause distraction. Some can instantly see images within the water. For others, it takes a bit of time before anything is seen. With practice, images will appear in the water. This are not images such as the shapes seen while divining by the method of Lecanomancy. Rather, what you will see will be closer to pictures; some are as if photographs, others are as
if watching a film. Similar to how Frodo saw, but hopefully not what he saw lol.
Macharomancy: Is the art of divination using the polished blade of a sword, dagger, or knife. To use this divination method, do the
following:
Polish the blade of a sword/dagger/knife until it is fully clean and disposed of any dirt, stains, or debris. For the use with specific intent in mind, form a question in your mind and concentrate on it while gazing into the polished surface of the blade. Do not strain your eyes or force a vision in the blade. You must concentrate while also maintaining yourself relaxed. For general use (without an intended purpose), simply relax and gaze into the polished blade. There is nothing to concentrate on because you don’t have an intended purpose. However, keep your mind still and clear so that it can remain open to vision.
